Artwork Description

This is the first piece from the series “Arte de Cagada” — a body of work conceived and created to inhabit bathrooms. Not as mere decoration, but as an aesthetic, symbolic, and even emotional provocation. The project begins with a simple yet disruptive question: Why is art almost never found in the bathroom? In this piece, I portray a situation we’ve all faced at least once — that moment of panic when there’s no toilet paper… and maybe, just maybe, the only option left is your sock. The artworks are framed in natural light wood with a 7 cm white mat board. Each frame includes anti-reflective glass to enhance visibility and preserve the artwork. The finish is clean and understated, designed to highlight each piece without visually competing with it.
