Artwork Description

A house is the result of those who inhabit it. It is traversed by the affective, the objects with which we surround ourselves with and, to a great extent, our economic position; this determines the possibility of imitating the comfort shown in magazines, where movement and spaciousness are determining factors in creating an environment. By juxtaposing advertising imagery with family archives through double exposure, I explore the moment when a space ceases to exist as a mere physical dimension and becomes a projection of memory.
