Artwork Description

An image from the Thoth Tarot, Abundance, etched on recycled glass. The frame is handcrafted from soldered stained glass. A chain of La Central matchboxes, enclosed in a soldered frame, allows the boxes to be replaced once used. Designed with space for posada candles, the piece functions as an interactive object — a small ritual of light and intention, a prayer for perpetual abundance. When lit, the frosted image casts a shifting shadow on the wall; as the candles slowly burn down, the shadow transforms, reflecting the fleeting and ever-changing nature of abundance itself.
