Artwork Description
This piece was made from a discarded section of drywall recovered from a construction site. It is part of the artist’s exploration of form and material through the reinterpretation of stained glass techniques. At the center, a small stained glass element soldered with silver anchors the composition. Along the surface, acrylic reliefs are coated with copper tape and covered with melted solder, following the process used in traditional stained glass work. Three cut-glass pieces, reclaimed from an old chandelier, hang from the lower edge of the piece, reflecting light when illuminated by the sun.
